After seeing this video, I bought garlic chives in a 4" pot at the garden center. I harvested the top, then divided the ~16 roots into 5 new clumps which are doing well. I made garlic chive pesto with the tops I cut off before dividing -- great with fish or just spread on a piece of sourdough bread.

I have stayed here a few times. It is a lottery as to which room you get. Some are old with wonky air-con and hot water. A few have been modernised but generally, the hotel is old and tired. Also now there is a very limited breakfast and not the one shown here. Just a bowl of watery rice and coffee.

Totally agree, the chicken is next level, I used to buy fried chicken skin over on Koh Chang in the 90s.
